Stay True To Your Dreams

1. Just decide, Period.

“If two men on the same job agree all the time, then one is useless. If they disagree all the time, both are useless.”- Dary F. Zanuck. The voices inside your head won’t agree all the time, so stop wasting your time waiting for a collective positive answer, because guess what? it may never happen!

2. Dream = Value

“Don’t dream of being a good person, be a human being is valuable and gives value to life” Albert Einstein once said. Your dream becomes more powerful only if you link it to humanitarian purposes, and sometimes you find your true self when you lose it all for others who are genuinely in need of your help.

3. Chase dreams not people.

You should know a dream starts from you, you may get inspired by others but never let their profiles and careers shape yours, your dream belongs to you and “you” only. The world doesn’t need a copy of someone else, but another unique brilliant work because your whole existence is individualized even if you have an identical twin, both of you are completely different in so many areas and so your dreams.

4. The best way to make your dreams come true is to wake up!

“ Why did I become Jackie Chan? Mostly because I work very hard. When people were sleeping, I was training”- Jackie Chan. Well whatever dream you hold, you should wake up early or stay late for it when your peers are still asleep because that dream is your real fuel by which you take real action to make it true, and this makes all the difference for you among the community.

5. Stop feeding haters your plans.

Here is a beautiful unknown saying “People will hate you for chasing your dreams because you are reminding them that they are not” which is completely true, you need to stop pouring your energy on useless talks with people just because you feel excited about a plan, there are plenty of them holding unexplained negative energy, whatever you say will be taken as a real challenge for them to bring you down and give all the possible excuses for you to not hang on your dream anymore, you know why? They can’t reach what you aim for (at least, this is what they think of themselves) or they don’t want to see another potential successful figure in their work domain. So the best solution is to keep silence and focus on the journey, everything else is a waste of your time.

6. We do all have the same 24 hours!

Everyone on this planet is given the same 24 hours in the day. The question is: What do you choose to do with yours? If you already have the answer, then discipline is the key to work it out.

7. The routine is killing your dream.

Work is good and feeling the security behind it is good too but that security is killing your creativity, you may live day by day in a total secure zone but trust me you will go nowhere, you will stay still in the same zone over and over again without any progress because you didn’t dare enough to take risks for great achievements, as Maya Mendoza said: “No amount of security is worth the suffering of a mediocre life chained to a routine that has killed your dream”.

Sometimes life is about risking everything for a dream no one can see but you, and if you want the success you should sincerely welcome the hustle behind it.

8. If you think hard work is painful…try losing

I think it’s better to fear failure than hard work, that way you will at least give a chance to what you once called a dream. If things get out of control during the journey,  you can divide your heavy mission to lighter ones but never give up on what you once thought of great and truly believed in because that feeling of holding something dear to your heart may never come back. Remember that it was your magnificent idea to take the heavy challenge and become the person you want to be, so be strong against the storm, and everything will go smoother after.

9. Have patience

“You may not see it today or tomorrow, but you will look back in a few years and be perplexed and awed by how every little thing added up and brought you somewhere wonderful- or where you always wanted to be. You will be grateful that things didn’t work out the way you once wanted them to.”- Brianna Wiest. This shows how everything seems to be difficult before it becomes easy, so no matter how much worse it gets and as long as you’re working on it there is always a way out. To have patience with the thing you’re working on is the golden key to success, we do all crave for the immediate results, who doesn’t? I do, unfortunately, the reality loves “details” but to get them right, you need TIME.

10. Be Grateful

“ Gratitude is the healthiest of all human emotions. The more you express gratitude for what you have, the more likely you will have even more to express gratitude for ”- Zig Ziglar
